Welcome to McKnight Elementary School—"A Big School with a Bigger Heart!" We are a K–5 building of 820 students set between the business corridor of McKnight Road and the neighborhood of McCandless. We pride ourselves in giving students opportunities to grow academically and socially while providing supports to families. We are Kind, Courageous, Motivated, and Responsible in all that we do!

Our theme this year is “Adapting to the Road Ahead,” based on the book The Yellow Bus by Loren Long. It’s about looking forward and meeting unexpected challenges with joy. We look forward to adapting to and overcoming whatever obstacles lie ahead.
